I found a teacher website for Ms. Allison Robinson, a high school English and AP English at Dale Public Schools in Oklahoma. Her page is quite organized and filled with so much information. She has a profile page where it states where she went to college and what degrees she holds. There is also her contact information (like her email and classroom number). She has a calendar, a section to submit homework, class syllabi, lesson plans, notes, and more. A feature I thought was cool was her E-Notes sign up where students enter their name, phone number, email address, and which of her classes they are in so that they can receive updates about said class.    Allison Robinson's Teacher Page  I definitely think I would use a website builder, like Wix, to create a class website that is easy for students and parents to navigate. I could put important information like a schedule, newsletter, and contact information. I would also want to use Canvas or Google Classroom to keep the cl...

I think that Diigo is an excellent source that should be implemented in all forms of education. Regarding my personal experience using the tool, I thought it was easy to use. I enjoyed the fact that I was able to tag the subject of the article that I was bookmarking so that people know what they are going to use. I also like how simple the layout is so that I can see what articles my classmates bookmarked and have easy access to read them.  I have thoroughly enjoyed the process of blogging so far. Back in ninth grade, I took a similar class about digital literacy and my digital footprint. For that class, I was also tasked with creating a blog so it has been a relatively easy process getting back into it for EME2040. I like the leeway that I have with my blog is that I can make it colorful and add things like my Twitter and images as well. I have learned through blogging how to reflect on what topics we have spoken about in class and how to apply them in our future careers in educat...

I have actually had a lot of experience using Twitter! Apart from the account I use for educational purposes, I have a personal Twitter that I have used since high school. On my personal account, I like to use Twitter to keep up with news, sports, and entertainment. For example, I follow accounts like ESPN and SportsCenter for updates in football, basketball, and hockey. On my account for school, I follow accounts that relate to my intended major, Special Education. I think Twitter is a great tool that could be used to further help me in my future career. Not only can I connect with similar individuals but I can stay up to date with the latest information and even job openings and opportunities!  The digital divide is definitely still a prevalent issue in society today. The digital divide can be described as the gap between underprivileged citizens who do not have access to the internet and those who do. I think as time progresses, schools are moving towards a more tech-friendly en...

When looking at the various ELA Matrices, I decided to choose third grade. The reason I picked that level specifically was because, at least for me, I remember starting to really implement more technology into my schoolwork and assignments. One standard that stands out to me is standard LAFS.3.W.2.6. The basic idea of the standard is that students should be able to create writing, (like essays, poems, short stories, etc.), using technology with the aid of adults. They should also be able to collaborate with others. I would say that I would be able to help students with this standard. I feel pretty confident to navigate certain programs like Word or Google Docs in order to help them refine their writing skills.  Staying on track with the 3rd Grade, I decided to look at the CPALMS tools for 3rd Grade English Language Arts. One tool that stood out to me was LAFS.3.RI.2.6. It states that students should be able to write about a text through their own perspective different than the auth...
